Economy
The economy in Brazil is the ninth largest in the world, and the largest in Latin America. It's major exports include aircraft, coffee, soybeans, vehicles, soybean, iron ore, orange juice, steel, textiles, footwear, corned beef, and electronics. Although the economy in Brazil is quite large, there are major differences throughout the regions. The south and southeast are the location for the majority of large industry. This is also where Sao Paulo is located, the fiancial capital of the country (see below picture).

On the other hand the northern region of the country is not as economically stable, with the region contributing the majority of the 22 million Brazilians living in poverty. The currency of Brazil is the Brazilian Real (shown below), which as of December 10, 2006 has the following exchange rate:
